Police in Bogor, West Java, have issued a statement regarding a recent incident at the Bogor Botanic Gardens. A group of visitors allegedly assaulted security personnel at the Gardens, marking an escalation in tensions following an illegal entry attempt.

The incident occurred last Sunday at around 4:00 PM WIB. According to the Head of Bogor City Police Criminal Investigation Unit, AKP Aji Riznaldi Nugroho, a group of people forcibly attempted to enter the Gardens after hours. The security team tried to prevent this, leading to a physical altercation.
