In a late-night incident, Police Arrest Teen for Attempted Arson; Search Continues for Accomplice
At 1:40 AM, local law enforcement received a report of two juveniles spotted near a local property. Upon arrival, officers found sufficient evidence to detain a 16-year-old boy on suspicion of attempted arson. "The other juvenile, who remains at large, is still the subject of an active search by our teams," a police spokesperson confirmed.
As part of the ongoing investigation, authorities also seized the scooter the teens had in their possession. The detained youth will undergo questioning today. "He will remain in custody for a maximum of 72 hours, after which the public prosecutor will decide on the next course of action," the spokesperson added.
