With the holiday season behind us, Posten Bring, a leading postal and logistics company in Norway, has handled over a million parcels each week leading up to Christmas. However, hundreds of thousands of these packages are still awaiting collection, with around 9,000 stranded in Rogaland.

Local figures for Haugalandet were not provided.

Speaking on the matter, Kenneth Tjønndal Pettersen, communication director at Posten Bring, stated, "All our sorting centers were emptied before Christmas Eve, but there are still some uncollected parcels at Post in Butikk and our parcel lockers. It’s likely these are some delayed Christmas presents that people didn’t manage to collect before Christmas."

Posten Bring is now urging customers to collect any remaining parcels during the New Year. The collection deadline is seven days after delivery.

Pettersen explained, "Post in Butikk will remain open as long as the shops are open, while our parcel lockers are accessible 24/7 using the Posten app."
