Woman’s Threats Ignored
Bjørnnes’ family and friends were left terrified as she repeatedly warned them that her boyfriend would kill her. Gunhild J. Oftedal, the family’s legal adviser, confirmed to VG that Linea had said, "He’s going to come and kill me one day." Oftedal revealed that Linea had shared these fears with her mother and sister, but tragically, their concerns went unheeded.
Anders Kjøren, the lawyer for the accused man, declined to comment on the allegations. He acknowledged that a mental health evaluation, known as a judicial observation, would be conducted to assess the man’s fitness to stand trial.
