Tragic Death of a 6-Year-Old in Razlog: Boy Dies in His Sleep, Autopsy to Determine Cause
In a heartbreaking incident, a 6-year-old boy has passed away in his sleep in the town of Razlog. The grim discovery was made on Saturday evening around 21:30 when medical professionals alerted the police.
Upon arrival at the scene, doctors confirmed the boy’s death. The child had been taken to the emergency medical center by his father. Initial examinations did not reveal any signs of physical abuse. The boy’s father reported that his son had died in his sleep.
Director of the Central Surgical and Medical Podplik Razlog, Dr. Krasimir Mihailov, revealed that emergency services received a call on the 112 hotline. "We dispatch our team with a doctor, but they were met by the family en route. The child was already showing signs of rigor mortis. The family members attempted to revive him, but unfortunately, there were no signs of life."
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of the boy’s death. The results are expected to provide crucial insights into how this tragic event occurred.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched to gather all objective facts surrounding this case.
