Our Family’s Journey – Sebastian‘s Story
Background
- Sebastian Thoresen Navarsete was diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukemia (ALL) at the age of 3.

Symptoms of Leukemia

Diagnosis and Treatment
- At Førde Hospital, Sebastian was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), which is the most common form of leukemia in children.
- He was then transferred to Haukeland University Hospital for treatment.
- The family was shocked, as they had not heard of Sebastian’s specific type of leukemia before.
- Doctors started him on immediate treatment, but his condition worsened.
A Changing Diagnosis and Aggressive Course of Disease
- Sebastian’s condition went downhill rapidly, and the family was devastated by his declining health.
- Despite intensive treatment, Sebastian’s cancer progressed aggressively, and he passed away on July 24, 2021.
The Journey After
