BREAKING: Tourists Rescued Safely After Being Stranded Near Fjellheisen
TROMSØ, NORWAY — In an incident that unfolded this evening, two tourists found themselves stranded north-east of Fjellheisen, a popular cable car attraction in Tromsø. The regional police department was alerted to the situation at 20:51, with emergency services swiftly responding.
Norsk Folkehjelp (Norwegian People’s Aid) and Norske Redningshunder (Norwegian Search and Rescue Dogs) were among the first responders, working diligently to reach the stranded tourists. Initially, it was reported that the rescue team was still en route to the scene at 21:26, making their way up the cable car and hiking down to the tourists’ location.
