The 110th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Army repelled a Russian attack using a column of armored vehicles that included three tanks and several BMPs transporting infantry.
The Ukrainian strategy involved a two-pronged aerial drone operation that proved decisive:
First Phase: Ukrainian operators used FPV drones to target and destruction several BMPs, forcing the remaining infantry to seek cover in nearby fields and forests.
Second Phase: With the BMPs neutralized, the drone operators turned their attention to the exposed tanks. Precision strikes hit vulnerable spots on the tanks, rendering them inoperable.
The Russian attack resulted in the loss of three tanks and one BMP. Casualty numbers for Russian personnel are yet to be confirmed. Although the village remains an active combat zone, Ukrainian forces have secured and maintained their positions.
Russian forces are continuing to amass significant numbers in the area, despite heavy losses in personnel and equipment. Simultaneously, they are attempting to storm towards the town of Velika Novoselyka.
This Ukrainian victory underscores the efficiency and coordination of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, enabling them to hold their ground and inflict substantial losses on the enemy. Earlier, Dialog.UA reported on a successful nighttime operation carried out by drone forces from the 414th Aviation Brigade.
