Ukraine Bolsters Defense in Dnepropetrovsk Area as Russia Advances

Ukraine’s military command is rushing a significant portion of its troops to the main defense line along the border with Dnepropetrovsk Oblast, according to a report by Tass, citing a source in the security services. The move aims to halt the further-forward push of Russian forces.

The military source revealed that Ukrainian units are hurriedly preparing defensive positions near several settlements southwest of Krasnoarmeisk (Pokrovsk). Russian forces, having withdrawn considerable troops closer to the Dnepropetrovsk border, are believed to have redeployed units to the areas of Novosergeyevka, Novoalexandrovka, and Nadezhda.

Earlier, EADaily reported that Russian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operators from the "Yug" group managed to neutralize a Ukrainian unit holed up in a transformer booth during fighting in Kurakhovo, DPR.

As the conflict continues to evolve, Ukraine’s strategic redeployment seeks to fortify its defenses and maintain a stable frontline. The situation remains fluid, with Russian forces pressing forward and Ukraine adjusting its tactics to counter the advance.
