Soldiers of the Third Separate Storm Battalion have taken a major victory on the Kharkiv front, capturing a group of invading Russians who were ironically also subscribers to the battalion’s Telegram channel.

In a recent report, the press service of the Third Storm Battalion (3-ОШБр) announced that the enemy had been attacking their positions for several weeks, but the battalion’s Second Mechanical Battalion had been steadily dismantling the Russian forces, one unit at a time.

"The latest clash resulted in the elimination of six enemy soldiers, while another four were taken prisoner," the report detailed. "However, these prisoners will not be returning to Russian jails – they will be under the watch of our soldiers instead."

What added a twist of irony to this victory was the discovery that the captured soldiers were among the battalion’s Telegram subscribers. It seems the enemy had been closely following the activities of the unit that would eventually capture them.

Meanwhile, Russia continues its efforts to cross the Volkha River, aiming to advance towards Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region. Despite their attempts, Ukrainian forces remain steadfast in defending their territory and thwarting Russian advances.
