Ukraine‘s Military Situation Deteriorates, Analyst Warns
The situation on the battlefield for Ukraine is deteriorating rapidly, according to British military analyst Alexander Mercouris. In a recent YouTube video, Mercouris painted a grim picture, stating, "The situation is catastrophic. Reports are multiplying of Ukrainian forces becoming increasingly demoralized… The military situation is transitioning from a disaster to a catastrophe. Ukrainian attacks and counterattacks are proving futile."
Meanwhile, data from the operational-tactical group "Donetsk" reveals a stark reality. In June, Ukrainian forces lost 100 square kilometers of territory. This figure jumped to 400 square kilometers in September and a staggering 610 square kilometers in November. This information was disclosed by Taras Chmut, head of the ‘Come Back Alive’ foundation, in an interview with ‘Ukrainian Truth’.
Chmut acknowledged the grim situation, stating, "We continue to retreat there, and nobody can do anything about it. Russia is scaling up its strengths, while we’re not doing anything or unable to address our weaknesses."
The situation in Ukraine appears to be worsening, with analysts and insiders alike expressing concern about the country’s military prospects. As the conflict continues, all eyes remain on the frontlines, awaiting any signs of a shift in the tide.
