Valmiera Municipality and Organizers Respond to Stage Incident
According to Zane Bulmeistare, deputy head of the Brand Management and Public Relations Department at Valmiera Municipality, a bottle was thrown toward the stage during Fiņķis’s concert. “No one was injured, but for safety reasons there was a technical pause after the incident, after which the concert continued and the artist performed the concert program in full,” Bulmeistare stated.
Event organizers met with Fiņķis immediately following the incident to discuss the situation and offer an apology. Stage security and police officers detained the individual responsible, according to municipal officials.
