This weekend marks Lawson’s first appearance for the senior squad since a brief two-race stint at the start of 2025 resulted in his demotion to Racing Bulls, where he has competed since. “The steering is the most different. We have very different steering feels just in terms of how much we use, how much we lock the car,” Lawson told Sky Sports F1, adding that different cockpit ergonomics made the car physically more demanding.
