According to Norkem Park SAPS spokesperson Sergeant Portia Mkhondo, the victim sustained gunshot wounds to his back and chest after being allegedly shot multiple times. Responding personnel declared the 31-year-old man dead at the scene.
Detectives have yet to establish why the shooting occurred. As Sergeant Portia Mkhondo stated, “The motive for the shooting is currently unknown, while detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.”
