JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Before his untimely demise, prominent lawyer Alvin Lim had plans to undergo dialysis. This revelation was confirmed by his spokesperson, Putra Hendra Giri.

"Alvin had plans to undergo dialysis," Putra told Kompas.com via a brief message on Tuesday (7/1/2025).

Alvin had consulted with doctors at a hospital in China regarding this matter. However, his plans were put on hold due to an infection in his lungs, which needed to be treated first.

Sadly, Alvin’s health deteriorated, and he passed away on Sunday (5/1/2025) at 12:00 WIB. He was 48 years old.

Alvin Lim, known for his high-profile cases, had been battling kidney failure for some time and regularly underwent dialysis. His death has left the legal community in mourning.
