Stara Zagora Man Arrested for Allegedly Beating Grandfather to Death
A 28-year-old man from Stara Zagora has been arrested and charged with the murder of his grandfather. The 65-year-old victim was found in his home with severe head and chest injuries.
The attack occurred on December 28, 2023. The victim’s body bore signs of a brutal beating. A pre-trial investigation has been launched.
The suspect, the victim’s grandson, has been detained for up to 72 hours. The Stara Zagora District Prosecutor’s Office will seek a court order to keep him in custody pending trial.
