Ede Car Plunges Into Water on A12, Rescued by Swift-Hacting Emergency Services

A shocking incident occurred on the A12 near Ede on Saturday, December 28th, at around 3:35 PM, when a car inexplicably departed the road and ended up in the adjacent water, creating a serious situation that fortunately ended with a positive outcome.

The car was carrying a man, a woman, and a dog when it veered off the highway and into the water near the A12-A30 connection. Quick-thinking emergency services, including multiple fire departments and a diving team, responded rapidly to the scene to provide assistance.

One of the passengers sustained unknown injuries and was transported to a local hospital for further treatment. The other passenger and the dog, however, were unharmed. Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the accident.
