Metro CDMX modifies its schedule for the last holidays of the year

The Sistema de Transporte Colectivo Metro (STC) (STC Metro) released its schedule for the last holidays of the year: December 24, 25, 31, and January 1. Despite the school holidays, many people will have to travel to work or visit Mexico City, thus, the Metro is an essential service.

Operating hours for the following holidays:

  • December 25 (First Christmas Day): From 7:00 AM to 11:30 PM. Last train leaves Central Kamensing at 11:30 PM.
  • December 24, 25, and 31: Normal operating hours from 5:00 AM to 12:00 AM (midnight).
  • January 1: Normal operating hours.

Operating hours for the following holidays:

  • December 25 (First Christmas Day): From 7:00 AM to 11:30 PM. Last bus leaves Central Kamensing at 11:30 PM.
  • December 24, 25, and 31: Normal operating hours from 4:30 AM to 11:30 PM.
  • January 1: Normal operating hours.

  • Plan your trip in advance using the outset applications (Transit App for Metro and Moovit for Metrobús).
