Russian Raids: Wave of Attack Drones Sighted Over Ukraine
Russian invaders launched a late-night attack on Wednesday, December 29, deploying strike drones towards Ukraine. Intelligence has confirmed the inbound drones are approaching from the north.
Military sources report that the drones are approaching from several directions:
- "Shahed" drones areheading towards Poltava region from the north of Dnipropetrovsk.
- More "Shahed" drones are coursing towards Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions from the north of Donetsk.
Air raid alerts have been sounded in several regions across Ukraine in response to the drone threat. As of 21:30, the air raid map shows:
Russian "Shaehd" Strikes Revisited
Russia has been heavily relying on attack drones, particularly "Shaehd" models supplied by Iran, in its aerial assaults on Ukraine. Today, the invaders targeted Mykolaiv region with "Shaehd" drones, with Ochaqov and Chornomorska communities in the line of fire. Reports indicate at least one injury.
Earlier, on December 28, Russia launched a wave of 16 drones against Ukraine, with air defense forces successfully shooting down nearly all of them.
