Former Chauffeur of DKI Jakarta‘s Ex-Governor’s Wife Ends Own Life in Majalengka
In a tragic turn of events, a man who previously served as the chauffeur for the wife of DKI Jakarta’s ex-governor, Sutiyoso, has taken his own life using a pistol. The incident has sent shockwaves throughout the community, resonating with many who remember the man’s dedicated service.
The man, identified only by his initials SP (55), is believed to have been grappling with depression and an undeteriorating health condition. In a desperate and final act, he turned to a Five-seven (FN) pistol, using it to end his life by shooting himself in the head, roughly around 7:30 AM local time.
The disturbing discovery was made in his residence situated in the Dawuan sub-district of Majalengka regency. The victim’s lifeless body was found bathed in blood, a chilling scene that awaited the responders. Besides him, only his beloved child was present in the house.
In a macabre scene, the child was in the kitchen when a loud bang echoed from the living room. The child rushed in to find the horrific sight and immediately sought help from neighbors. Several residents quickly gathered at the house, their expressions a mix of shock and sadness.
The family has declined an autopsy, instead opting for a direct burial at the nearest public cemetery, nearby their residence.
