Google is steadily improving Gemini and also keeping Czech language in mind. Concurrently, the original Google Assistant is being replaced, and Gemini will take over everything by the end of the year. Now, Google announces that Gemini is coming to watches with Wear OS, where only the Google Assistant has been available until now.

Gemini and Smartwatches: The Future of AI on Your Wrist
Google is launching Gemini on smartwatches from brands like Pixel, Samsung, OPPO, OnePlus, and Xiaomi. The initial models supporting this integration include the Galaxy Watch8 and Galaxy Watch8 Classic, the latest Wear OS 6 smartwatches from Samsung. The exciting part? You don’t necessarily need the newest OS version. Gemini is compatible with Wear OS 4 and above.
Gemini is gradually incorporating all of the features and capabilities of the original assistant, such as the newly added home broadcast feature, and also receiving further improvements. Google highlights that its greatest strengths lie in utilizing AI for more complex tasks and conversations. Gemini is better at understanding complex sentences and provides more accurate responses.

Gemini on smartwatches also supports the “Hey Google” activation phrase, though Czech voice activation is not yet available. While Gemini is improving and supports Czech, voice activation isn’t ready yet. Regarding the rollout of Gemini, it won’t be immediately available on all smartwatches. The entire process is expected to take a few weeks.
