GAZA CITY: Palestinian resistance groups have identified the Israeli soldier involved in the assassination of Hamas political bureau chief Yahya Sinwar. The soldier, identified as Isaac Cohen, was part of the undercover Israeli army unit that carried out the assassination in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday.
Sinwar, who was also the head of Hamas’ political bureau, was killed in an airstrike targeting his convoy in the Gaza Strip. The assassination has been condemned by Palestinian factions and sparked widespread protests across the occupied Palestinian territories.
