Lars Eriksson, the municipal director of Jokkmokk Municipality in Sweden, produced and acted in adult films under the pseudonym “Hans” between 2018 and 2026, SVT Nyheter Norrbotten reported. “Given that it concerns a legal, albeit taboo, business that was concluded more than two years before I became a candidate for the municipal position, I find it difficult to see any potential impact,” Eriksson wrote in a written statement to SVT.

Municipal leadership in Jokkmokk views the revelation as a serious administrative liability. Roland Boman, the mayor of Jokkmokk, told SVT that the covert adult film production creates unacceptable exposure for a high-ranking public official.
“It is exceedingly important that a leading official and employee cannot be subjected to extortion,” Boman told the broadcaster.
Olle Lundin, a professor of administrative law at Uppsala University, supported that assessment. Lundin pointed to the strategic location of Jokkmokk, which holds vital infrastructure for Swedish hydropower production and national defense.
“This is not a good scenario at all,” Lundin told SVT. “The municipality as such is of great interest to a foreign power, and by that I primarily mean Russia. Having such a vulnerability factor in a municipality of heavy security-political interest is not optimal, but something the municipality is forced to close and clean up.”
