Kerala Board Announces SSLC Class 10th Results for 2026
The Kerala Board of Public Examinations (KBPE) has officially released the SSLC Class 10th results. The announcement was made during a press conference attended by the Director of General Education, NSK Umesh, and other senior officials.
Academic Performance and Key Statistics
Sharmila Mary Joseph, Principal Secretary of General Education, announced that 414,290 students passed the examination, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 99.07 per cent. High-achieving students were also highlighted, with 30,514 students scoring an A Plus.

The results showed exceptional performance in specific areas, with 2,105 schools achieving 100 per cent results. Students in Gulf countries recorded a 100 per cent pass rate this year.
According to Kerala General Education Minister V Sivankutty, a total of 4,17,497 students appeared for the SSLC examinations across 3,031 centres. The testing period took place from March 5 to March 30, 2026.
Next Steps for Students
With the publication of the results, students may now begin planning their next academic phase. Minister V Sivankutty stated that online applications for Plus One admission for the 2026–27 academic year can be submitted starting the day after the results were published.
The government has also introduced scholarships for students who achieve high marks in Malayalam. This initiative, designed to promote the mother tongue, will award scholarships to students who perform well in Malayalam in their Class 10 exams and choose to continue studying Malayalam as a second language at the Higher Secondary level.
For students who did not qualify, the board will conduct supplementary examinations, known as “Save a Year” exams, which may allow them to improve their marks and qualify.

The 2026 pass percentage of 99.07 per cent follows a trend of high achievement in previous years:
- 2025: Results were declared on May 9, with a pass percentage of 99.5%.
- 2024: Results were declared on May 8, with 4,25,563 students passing and a pass percentage of 99.69%.
