Morten Eriksen, a police officer from Agder’s joint criminal investigation unit, provided an update to Fædrelandsvennen, confirming that the couple is related and the teen is a minor. He assured their families have been notified.
Eriksen reports it’s too early to definitively determine the cause of the accident. Both parties involved were unable to provide statements on the second day of Christmas due to their critical condition.
