In a brutal incident that transpired last night around 11 PM, a woman launched a savage attack on her partner using a kitchen knife, with another man getting injured while attempting to intervene. The shocking event took place in a residence located on Misiones Street, in the 700 block.

According to the police report, 37-year-old Natalia Fernández went into a fit of rage during an argument with her partner, Matías Canay, also 37. Armed with a Tramontina knife, she viciously assaulted Canay. In an effort to break up the altercation, 68-year-old Oscar Mambor stepped in, sustaining a minor wound to his arm.

Emergency services, alerted by a distressed 911 call, rushed to the scene. Fernández was swiftly apprehended and taken into custody on charges of aggravated assault and battery. She was subsequently transported to the First Precinct station.

Fortunately, both Canay and Mambor suffered only non-life-threatening injuries. They were promptly transported by ambulance to the Municipal Hospital, where they received timely medical attention.

Investigations into the matter are being conducted by the 15th Judicial Instruction and Trial Unit of the Bahía Blanca Department.
