Breaking News: Police Chase and Suspected Street Racing Incident on Oslo‘s Ring 3

Oslo, Norway – Police responded to a suspected street racing incident on Ring 3 at Sinsenkrysset today, where a vehicle failed to stop for a traffic control. In a brief pursuit, officers managed to halt the car, but two occupants fled on foot, leading to an active search in the Bjølsen and Sagene areas.

"The driver refused to stop for the check, and after a short chase, we were able to stop the vehicle," said Operations Leader Alexander Østerhaug of Oslo Police. "Two individuals, described as young men or teenagers, fled the scene, and we’re currently looking for them in the vicinity."

Witnesses have reported seeing the suspects running along the Akerselva river, with police deploying multiple units to the area. While the search for the suspects continues, police are also pursuing other investigations related to the incident.

"There are several inconsistencies in this case, including the vehicle’s registration number," Østerhaug added. "We’re working on gathering more information related to these details."
