Breaking: Tank Station Bus Fire Quickly Extinguished by Local Fire Department
A delivery truck parked at a fueling station along the bustling Zonnelaan road was engulfed in flames on Tuesday, causing a brief disruption in traffic. The local fire department swiftly responded to the blaze, arriving around 5:30 PM with a fire engine and foam-truck.
Firefighters acted promptly, bringing the fire under control in a short span of time. The cause of the fire is believed to have been the refueling of an onboard generator. The Zonnelaan was temporarily closed to traffic but has since reopened, allowing commuters to continue on their journeys uninterrupted.
