Middelburg Car Catches Fire in Dauwendaele Neighborhood

A private car went up in flames today in the Dauwendaele neighborhood of Middelburg, requiring the immediate response of the local fire brigade. The incident occurred around 2:10 PM at the Wijdaustraat, causing significant concern for residents.

The cause of the fire remains unknown, but it is reported that it originated in a BMW vehicle, engulfing it in flames by the time the fire department arrived. The fire service, alerted from the Torenweg post, rushed to the scene and promptly set to work extinguishing the blaze.
