I just pick the baubles I like, so it doesn’t matter if it’s in fashion or not. It’s just a weakness for a good deal."
Yet, it was the Christmas houses that proved the most coveted items, with customers snapping up stickers securing their chance to purchase a specific model. Staff have implemented a ‘crisis prevention’ strategy, allowing customers to select a stickered box, rather than the house itself, to prevent heated disputes. "We just hope to avoid any real skirmishes," Harold explained. "And if they’re all gone, then tough luck."
