Veldhoven Raid: Police and Special Operations Team Search for Armed Threats

In a late Saturday night operation, Veldhoven police, accompanied by a special intervention team (DSI), conducted a raid on a business premise and an adjacent residence. Their mission? To locate and apprehend a 60-year-old man reported to have threatened others with a firearm.

The arrest squad, comprising approximately ten officers, meticulously searched both properties. The lover of the prime suspect and her daughter were safely removed from the residence during the process. Authorities confirmed that the 48-year-old woman living in the house was subsequently taken into custody.

Regrettably, the target of their search was not at home. Law enforcement then reached out to the 60-year-old, urging him to surrender at the local police station. True to their word, he promptly turned himself in and was subsequently arrested.
