Tesla has filed a lawsuit in the US court, in which it demanded to cancel the requirement of the administration of President Donald Trump to levy duties on parts that the company imports from China. About it reports Bloomberg citing materials from the Court of International Trade in New York.

The electric car maker is seeking to declare the duties illegal and reimburse the tariffs already paid. The US trade representative Robert Lighthizer is listed as the defendant in the case.

Lighthizer did not respond to the agency’s request for comment.

As reminds BloombergIn 2019, Tesla received a refusal from the US authorities in response to a request to abolish duties of 25% on Chinese-made monitors that the company uses in the production of Model 3 electric vehicles. At the same time, the manufacturer complained about damage from the imposed tariffs.

In January, the USA and China signed documents in the first phase of the trade deal, which oblige Beijing to buy $ 200 billion worth of agricultural products and other goods from Washington within two years. In exchange, the US side canceled the planned increase in duties on Chinese goods, including phones, toys and laptops. Already set by the United States, duties of 25% on goods from China totaling $ 250 billion remain in force until the countries agree on the terms of the second phase of the agreement. August parties reported on progress in the implementation of the agreement on the first phase of the transaction.

Remedy is giving away its first game to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the studio / CD-Action

Founded in 1995, Finnish Remedy gave us a handful of great productions for a quarter of a century, even if we were never in a hurry to release new games. Max Payne, Alan Wake, Quantum Break or Control probably need no introduction, but not everyone remembers how it all began.

It’s hard to imagine, but the first work of the plot studio did not actually have. Death Rally was just about winning race after race and ultimately becoming number one in the league (or who was behind all this racing). The discipline is quite unique, however, because each of the few cars was armed to the teeth, which significantly influenced the dynamics of the game.

I don’t have to go too far on the title itself, because Remedy celebrated its twenty-fifth birthday by publishing it for free on Steam. And it’s permanent, so we don’t have to rush the download.

Death Rally Classic (because there is also a refreshed version from 2011 available on the market) can be found HERE.

Car fee of 6 euros against traffic jams in the city center

IIn some metropolises around the world, a city toll is part of the transport policy, but in Germany this is a novelty. However, the debate about how the Stay in cities and how the interaction between cars, bikes, trains, buses and pedestrians can be more successful. As a solution, some politicians and researchers see a fee for drivers if they want to drive into certain areas of the city – so that cars drive less often into the city centers.

For Munich there is a group around that Ifo Institute now calculates how high a city toll should be and what consequences that would have. An anti-traffic jam fee of 6 euros a day should therefore reduce traffic in Munich within the Middle Ring by 23 percent. At 10 euros it would be 30 percent.

“This would enable us to get a grip on the congestion problems in the city center,” says Oliver Falck, economics professor at the LMU Munich and head of the Ifo Center for Industrial Organization and New Technologies. The study was carried out by the Ifo Institute with the consulting firm Intraplan Consult and with financial support from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Munich and Upper Bavaria. According to Falck, their results can also be transferred to other congested cities.

What happens to the income?

The calculations already include higher parking fees of 10 euros per day instead of the previous 6 euros, which are currently being tried out in parts of Munich city center. According to the study, however, an increase on its own has almost no effect.

Falck sees various advantages in the fee: When drivers change, traffic drops. Suppliers, taxis and logistics companies would get on better. According to the calculations, travel time for commercial traffic drops by 7.5 percent. This time saving should therefore have a value of 204 million euros per year.

When shops can be reached more quickly, retail also benefits. “One advantage over driving bans is that people at least have the option to drive,” he says.

A similar driver fee is also being discussed in Berlin. Regine Günther, the green Senator for the Environment, Transport and Climate Protection, rushes ahead here. She has commissioned a legal review. Five to eight euros per day per vehicle are envisaged.

What happens to the revenue from the driver fee? According to the study, a fee of 6 euros a day would bring in around 600 million euros a year. The researchers suggest using this to expand bus and train journeys and to cushion social hardship.

“This makes an anti-traffic jam fee more socially balanced than other measures,” says Falck. He rates the experience abroad as positive: in Singapore, London and Stockholm, road traffic has been reduced by between 15 and 44 percent over several years.

Heroes of the movie “Fast and Furious 9” will go into space, and now it’s a meme

The heroes of the movie “Fast and the Furious 9” will go into space, confirmed actress Michelle Rodriguez, and Twitter users responded with a barrage of jokes and criticism. The audience did not understand the intention of the creators of the picture, but in the memes they presented how it would look. However, whatever the filmmakers come up with, commentators are sure: it’s time to stop.

The first movie, Fast & Furious, starring Vin Diesel and Paul Walker, premiered in 2001 and received ten sequels. Two of them, Fast and Furious 9 and Fast and Furious 10, should be released in 2021 and 2022, respectively, with the latter, as reported media, promises to end the long-lived franchise. On September 10, actress Michelle Rodriguez, who plays in Letty Ortiz’s films, in the Jess Keigle show commented on rumors that the heroes will go into space in the ninth part.

How did you guys know about this? Michelle said. – See what’s going on? Damn, people start talking backstage. When a movie doesn’t come out and people forget about it, information leaks out. Nobody should have known about this!

At the same time, the star added that her heroine would not appear in space, and immediately changed the subject. But it was too late: journalists picked up the news, and she ended up receiving no less discussion on Twitter than the first trailer for “Dune” with a meme worm… After all, the commentators did not understand at all what the filmmakers were up to.

The girl took in a cat with a sad face and worked a miracle. The look of fluffy in a year – happiness in its purest form

But movie fans used to joke that in the new parts of the franchise the action will take place in space. Learning that trolling could become a reality, they uncovered old memes and stuck on new ones.

Artist BossLogic showed what a poster for a new painting might look like.

Meanwhile, there were more and more troll ideas about what would happen in the new Fast and the Furious.

There were suggestions for subsequent paintings.

But while some commentators joked enthusiastically, others quite seriously criticized the filmmakers – in their opinion, the franchise has not lived up to expectations for a long time, it looks ridiculous, and it’s time to stop.

Before jokes about the new Fast and the Furious flooded Twitter, the main topic of discussion for moviegoers was the trailer for “Batman” by Matt Reeves. Promo pictures with Robert Pattinson were sold to memes in which Bruce Wayne severely punishes people for the slightest wrongdoing and falls into “Twilight”. And the fans, intrigued by the mystery from the villain, deciphered it and learned that Batman’s adversary is no stranger to a sense of humor.

VIDEO.- “Do not applaud us, stay at home or take care because the health system is going to saturate”

Rosana Zubidi describes that in one of the COVID pavilions of the San Juan de Dios, where she works, the sound of the oxygen masks in the rooms is heard 24 hours a day. It is constant and overwhelming. She says that now, for the first time, she is stressed. She even had to leave her home to avoid putting her husband and children at risk. And that she has not been able to see her mother for a long time.

“I am a nurse in San Juan de Dios and I make this video to ask everyone to become aware, to take care of themselves, not to gather and not to go to the bars when it opens because the health system is collapsing. There are infected personnel and companions in serious condition. We are not superheroes and we have relatives next to us who are suffering. We do not need applause, what we need is for them to understand that they have to take care of themselves and think about the other and that is how they take care of us. They should avoid ending up in hospital in a therapy, because we do not know if in a few days there will be room or doctors and nurses to attend to them. There are more and more patients and hospitalized and yet more things are opened every day “, he recorded a video days ago that he uploaded to the networks social and went viral.

Zubidi works in one of the special rooms of the San Juan de Dios hospital. There are 8 rooms for 16 people. Initially it was a place for mild patients, but now it has become a more complex place. “Soon it will be an intermediate therapy room because mild patients are not even admitted,” she told ELDIA.COM while she said that she was part of and was the vice president of Hogar María Pueblo but that she cannot attend so as not to put

“It is becoming more and more complex despite the fact that respirators, beds and supplies were brought in. At first we had suspicious patients in my ward; now only positive, from moderate to complex. There were days when the 16 beds were full, at times they remain some free … For the first time we are stressed, exhausted and anguished, “he confessed in the talk before starting his work day.

In addition to daily work, nurses must contain people who are scared and need breathing. They cannot touch them and the care is strict. “When we enter their rooms they don’t even know who we are, because we are all covered with masks, chemise, chinstraps and more.”

For her the most complicated thing is the impossibility of the patient to receive visits. There are older people who cannot use their cell phones. And that, of course, for family members not being able to say goodbye to their loved ones is tremendous.

“In our room we have the plasma protocol and I can assure you that it improves the picture for almost everyone. Days ago a 90-year-old woman, Felipa, left the hospital, who stole the smile from all of us in the middle of this ordeal”, Zubini continued, who did not hesitate to point out that current patients enter the hospital with a strong viral load and that is why some go directly to intensive care. “Before there were two and a third is about to be added, ours,” she added.

Zubini said that the climate is bleak. There is silence and the noise of permanent oxygen is heard. Every time she enters a room she must change. Sometimes this is repeated many times because although the order is to enter the rooms as little as possible, if the patient requires attention, they must do so as many times as necessary. “Luckily we have all the necessary elements.”

“The health system is stressed and sick. There are infected colleagues and others isolated. The other day a colleague died in the children’s hospital. That is why I made the video, to ask people to continue taking care of themselves, that this virus is far away to finish and that continues attacking, “he closed his talk while the health personnel said they could not take vacations since March, that due to contagion some lost even their francs and Health codes.
