Tanker Truck Accident on N50:Congestion Expected as Diversion Routes Activated
An accident on the N50 highway near Ens has left drivers facing major disruptions. A tanker truck carrying cattle feed has overturned, blocking both the right lane towards Emmeloord and the left lane towards Zwolle. Motorists are advised to expect significant delays and use alternative routes.
The incident occurred around 12:15 PM on Saturday. The truck driver managed to escape the vehicle unassisted and was subsequently checked by paramedics. The extent of any injuries is currently unknown.

Diversion Routesactivated
For drivers heading towards Emmeloord, the following diversion route has been activated:
- Join the A28 eastbound via the N333.
- Continue on the A28 until the A32 interchange.
- Take the A32 northbound.
- Continue on the A7 northbound.
- At the A7/A6 interchange, take the A6 eastbound.
- Follow the A6 until you reach the Emmeloord exit.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible and plan for additional travel time if using the diversion routes.
