REYNOSA, Tamaulipas — The influenza vaccination drive, facilitated by PREVENIMSS’s mobile modules set up in several shopping centers around Reynosa, has been met with overwhelming demand. The initiative, aimed at preventing potential flu outbreaks during the winter season, has seen a significant response from locals.

According to Constantino García, a healthcare professional from IMSS Clinic 33, the demand for influenza vaccines has been particularly high. "The influenza vaccine is the most requested," said García. "People are aware of the winter season and want to prevent falling ill with the flu."

One such mobile module was recently installed at a shopping center in the intersection of Bulevar Hidalgo and calle Elías Piña. By midday on Thursday, García had already administered 30 doses, with more citizens expected to approach the module for the influenza, pneumococcal, or tetanus vaccines, or to complete their vaccination schemes.

The success of this initiative is hopeful news for public health advocates. The modules serve to encourage individuals to proactively prevent diseases by accessing available vaccinations, making them an invaluable service for the community.
