Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, and blessings and peace be upon His messenger, Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him), and upon his family and companions in their entirety.
O noble ones, Allah has favored us with children, who are the most beautiful creations in existence. They are the essence of love and kindness in our lives, and the most precious stages of our journey. Children are a great blessing from Allah, the Most Generous, which cannot be counted nor enumerated. Delightful in their innocence, pure in their actions, their stories captivating, their emotions genuine, their breaths like the morning breeze in spring, their lives pure and fresh.
Allah created us to build ourselves into individuals capable of facing life’s challenges with resilience and accomplishment. The foundation of this building lies in our childhood. Therefore, it is our duty to provide our children with all means of nurturing, care, education, and entertainment that awaken their sense of responsibility, courage, and competition, instilling in them the values of love, mercy, and generosity.
Indeed, our beloved Prophet Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) had a special love for children. He frequently held them in his lap, embraced and kissed them, and played with them. He understood their innocent nature and cared for their well-being. Even his final sermon addressed the rights of children, emphasizing their importance in society.
O noble ones, let us widen our embrace to include our children, filling their hearts with love, care, and understanding, helping them grow into upright, creative, and innovative individuals, responsible, brave, and compassionate. Let us instill in our children the awareness of Allah’s constant presence, fostering courage and competition in them. Let us cherish our children’s purity and not let it be tainted by inappropriate entertainment or harmful influences.
Allahumma, bless our children, our youth, and our homeland.
