Intense Fighting Continues in Ukraine‘s Novovasylivka

According to intelligence sources, from December 30 to January 1, Russian troops launched intense assaults on Novovasylivka from the south and east. These attacks are primarily carried out by infantry with occasional support from armored vehicles and light artillery tanks.
The situation on the ground is fluid and chaotic, with enemy forces reportedly present throughout the village, and Ukrainian defenders holding positions among them. "The situation is such that the enemy is present in every corner of the village, just as our forces are. Tactically, it’s a mess, and the enemy’s numerical superiority could prove decisive," says an intelligence report.
