The Secretariat of Public Health in La Matanza has kicked off a comprehensive vaccination campaign across the district, aiming to ensure the well-being of its residents. The drive, comprising various vaccination points, will administer both influenza and COVID-19 vaccines concurrently, along with other shots stipulated in the national immunization calendar.

Target Groups and Timings

The influenza vaccination campaign, set to run from Monday, January 6 to Friday, January 10, targets:

  • Children aged six months to two years
  • Pregnant women
  • Postpartum women
  • Individuals aged two to 64 with underlying health conditions
  • Individuals aged 65 and above (without a medical order)
  • Healthcare workers

Vaccination points, operating from 9 AM to 1 PM, have been established across seven localities: Isidro Casanova, González Catán, Ciudad Evita, Ciudad Madero, San Justo, Ciudad Celina, and Virrey del Pino.
