At Least 11 Injured in Mass Shooting Outside Queens Nightclub
NEW YORK, NY – A mass shooting outside a nightclub in Queens left at least 11 people injured on Wednesday night. The incident occurred around 11:20 p.m. outside "Amazura" club on 144th Place near Archer Avenue in the Jamaica neighborhood.
The New York Police Department (NYPD) and the Fire Department of New York (FDNY) are on the scene. According to a police spokesperson, 11 people were wounded. Authorities are searching for a gray Infiniti vehicle that fled the scene. The condition of the victims is stable, with some taken to nearby hospitals, including Long Island Jewish Hospital and Cohen’s Children Medical Center.
The motive behind the shooting and the number of shooters involved remain unclear. It’s also unknown if the victims were club patrons. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
