High-Energy Car Crash Shuts Down E6 in Troms; Three Involved, One Injured
TROMSØ, NORWAY — A high-energy front-to-front collision on E6 at Andslimoen has resulted in significant material damage and at least one injury, according to operations leader Christian Andreassen from the police. The severity of the incident is still under investigation.
Emergency services, including police and firefighters, rushed to the scene, where they found several people trapped in their vehicles. Paramedics immediately provided treatment to one individual at the crash site. Thankfully, no one was found to be trapped, but the full extent of injuries is yet to be determined.
The crash has led to the closure of E6, the main thoroughfare within Troms county, causing potential disruptions for many drivers. Police warn of possible traffic congestion in the area as a result.
