Drunk Driver Arrested After Attempted Getaway in Kootstertille
In a vain attempt to evade police, a 51-year-old man from Kootstertille found himself in hot water on Thursday evening. Earlier, officers had spotted him driving erratically on De Koaten.
The man was eventually forced to pull over, and subsequent tests revealed the reason behind his desperate bid to escape: he was intoxicated. A breathalyzer test at the police station returned a reading of 0.935 mg/L, which resulted in his driver’s license being revoked on the spot.
