The celebration honors Ferragosto, recognized as one of Italy’s most beloved summer holidays, and is scheduled for Saturday, August 15, from 1 to 6 p.m.
Ferragosto at Helms Schedule and Attractions
The afternoon event is hosted by Helms with friends at Pasta Sisters, featuring a lineup of food, drinks, and cultural activities. Live music and a DJ will keep things lively along Helms Avenue, where Italian food and drink vendors will line the street.
Attendees looking to learn culinary skills can participate in tortellino-rolling lessons hosted by Pasta Sisters to learn how to make the classic Italian stuffed pasta. Additional food and drink offerings include heirloom Italian produce showcased by Orto Farms, along with cheese, salumi, and olive oil tastings offered by Sogno Toscano. Guests can also grab a drink at the Father’s Office beer garden or order from a selection of specialty cocktails available during the celebration.
Family Activities and Cultural Demonstrations
The celebration includes a dedicated slate of family-friendly programming for kids. Fondazione Italia will host crafts, story time, and dance-alongs designed to introduce guests to Italian culture in a fun way.
In addition to cultural activities, Studio Dream Factory will present an immersive multimedia installation on-site.
