According to The Canadian Press, the Conservative Party experienced a difficult showing during Monday’s vote. The party finished in third place behind the Bloc Québécois in Chicoutimi-Le Fjord and trailed in third behind the New Democratic Party in Beaches-East York. CBC News noted that while the Liberals won all three ridings decisively and picked up a crucial seat, their vote shares saw minor decreases in certain areas compared to the 2025 general election.
