Banten Boosts Efforts to Convert Honorer to ASN via PPPK 2024 Selection
Serang, Banten – The Banten Provincial Government (Pemprov) is actively optimizing the registration process for the PPPK 2024 phase 2 selection, which has been extended until January 15, 2025. This move aims to address the honorer personnel issue, as mandated by Law No. 20/2023 on Civil Servants (ASN).
Nana Supiana, the head of the Banten Provincial Civil Service Agency (BKD), has been maximizing efforts to register 11,737 honorers to become PPPKs. Meanwhile, she encourages the 475 honorers who did not receive a formation in the PPPK 2024 phase 1 selection to apply for the extended phase 2 registration.
"For those who haven’t yet joined or passed the selection, we strongly urge them to register for the PPPK 2024 phase 2. This phase has been extended to January 15, 2025," Nana said in Serang on Wednesday (8/1).
Phase 2 registration involves data verification to ensure candidates meet the qualifications set by the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) and the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (KemenPANRB). All non-ASN personnel registered in the BKN database who have participated in the selection, regardless of the outcome, will be considered and encouraged to become PPPKs.
"Those who have taken the selection exam are considered eligible to become PPPKs. Although their status may be part-time or full-time, this will be determined by BKN and KemenPANRB policies," Nana explained.
