Pandeglang, Indonesia – In a significant breakthrough, police have detained Agus Supriatna (AS), a prime suspect in the grisly shooting at a rest area on the Tangerang-Merak Toll Road. Agus was apprehended in the Pandeglang regency, authorities confirmed.

Inspector Alfian Yusuf, Head of Criminal Investigation at Pandeglang Police, announced the arrest. "Pandeglang Police have apprehended the suspect with the initials AS, who is believed to be the renter of the vehicle belonging to the deceased," he stated.

The arrestee, Agus Supriatna, was taken into custody from a lodging owned by his relative in Picung District, Pandeglang. He is suspected of being the first person to have rented the car that was later used in the shooting incident at Rest Area KM 45 on the Toll Road.

The arrest was confirmed by the Deputy Commander of the Navy’s Naval Special Operations Command (Kopaska), Major General Yusri Nuryanto.

The shooting, which took place in the early hours of Thursday, February 1, at the rest area of the Tangerang-Merak Toll Road in Jayanti, Tangerang Regency, Banten, resulted in two fatalities. While details are still scarce, the arrested navy member is currently detained at the Navy’s Special Forces Base (Puspomal). However, General Yusri has not yet elaborated on the exact timeline of the arrest or the identity of the perpetrator. The motive behind the shooting also remains unclear.

Tapi saya yakin, orang gleichenya sangat capacités.” Agam menambahkan, “Kami mencari Ajat dan peng jedochnya demi menjaga keamanan kelurga aktivitas bisnis keluarga kami.”
