Bulgarian Airline Diverts Vienna-to-Varna Flight to Burgas Due to Adverse Weather
A regular flight from Vienna to Varna, operated by Austrian Airlines, was diverted to Burgas on Tuesday afternoon due to inclement weather in the northern Black Sea city. The aircraft, which was scheduled to land at Varna Airport at 3:36 PM, circled the airport before changing course towards Burgas, local news outlet " Flagman" reported.
The diversion comes as Bulgarian airports, including Varna and Burgas, grapple with fluctuating weather conditions, leading to flight disruptions during peak travel season. This incident serves as a reminder for passengers to stay informed about weather conditions and potential flight delays or cancellations.
