This weekend, almost all the players of the Colombian National Team played in their respective clubs after the first dates of the South American Qualifiers.
Jeison Murillo and Falcao García still need to play in their respective clubs, but here is the summary with the most important of each player this weekend.
David Ospina: on Napoli’s return, the goalkeeper started. He did not have many arrivals on his portico and his team was the protagonist of a great 4-1 over Atalanta in which the Colombian made an assist.
Camilo Vargas: covered in the game Guadalajara vs. Atlas, who finished 3-2 against the Colombian’s team. This weekend there was speculation that Inter Milan are following him.
Álvaro Montero: played the 90 minutes in the Tolima vs. Jaguares, which finished 1-1.
Eder Chaux: He was a substitute in the America and National party.
Aldair Quintana: He was the starter of Nacional contra América, which ended DXXXX.
Santiago Arias: He underwent surgery this weekend for the injury he suffered with the Colombian National Team.
Stefan Medina: he is still injured and was not called up for the match between Monterrey and Puebla.
Yerry Mina: He was a starter for Everton against Liverpool. He made a mistake that left him served the ball for Mohamed Salah to score a goal. The match was 2-2.
Davison Sánchez: Tottenham drew 3-3 with West Ham in an incredible Premier League match and the Colombian defender scored an own goal, although he had been a good showing for 75 minutes.
Jeison Murillo: play this Monday against Levante at 3:00 pm (Colombian time)
Jhon Lucumí: He returned to Genk and played on a defensive line alongside Carlos Cuesta and Daniel Muñoz, also Colombians. His team won 3-1.
Frank Fabra: the xeneize team did not participate this weekend because soccer has not yet started in Argentina.
Johan Mojica: He was not a starter with Atalanta, but came in to fix the team’s defensive problems when they trailed 4-0. On the left side he had a good defensive production, although Napoli slowed down due to the good result obtained in the first half.
Wilmar Barrios: He started and played 70 minutes in the match between Zenit and Sochi, which gave the Colombian team a 3-1 victory
Jorman Campuzano: Boca Juniors still has no competition in Argentine soccer.
Jefferson Lerma: Bournemouth drew 0-0 with Queens Park Rangers and the midfielder started, participating in the game for 76 minutes.
Juan Guillermo Cuadrado: He did not start with Juventus, but entered the game in the 56th minute. The vecchia signora drew 1-1 with Crotone in an incredible result.
Victor Cantillo: he was not a starter at Corinthians, which lost 1-5 against Flamengo.
Matheus Uribe: Porto played against Sporting de Lisboa, another of Portugal’s strong teams. The Colombian midfielder scored a goal in the 2-2 draw.
Yairo Moreno: He is still injured and could not play with León.
Steven Alzate: He was a substitute and did not participate in the game between Brighton and Crystal Palace.
James Rodriguez: He started and was the 90 minutes of the Everton vs. Liverpool. He gave an assist with a corner kick and although he was not the great protagonist, he had a correct game without errors and a high defensive value.
Luis Diaz: he started in the Sporting vs. Porto but came out at minute 59, when the match was 2-1. Finally the match was 2-2.
Luis Muriel: entered the 81st minute with the game 4-1 in favor of Napoli over Atalanta. He could do little in the game.
Duván Zapata: He started and only played 45 minutes of the match between Napoli and Atalanta. He left the game for the start of the second half, but did not have a single shot on goal.
Falcao garcia: play this Monday at 12:00 pm (Colombia time) against Alanyaspor.
Alfredo Morelos: Rangers played the Scottish football classic against Celtic, which ended 0-2 in favor of the Colombian team. He started, did not score a goal, but starred in a curious play against Scott Brown.
Jhon Córdoba: participated in the 90 minutes with Hertha Berlin in the 0-2 defeat to Stuttgart.
