The birthday girl’s grandmother, aunt, and cousin lost their lives in the accident. The birthday girl was scheduled to board a second flight later alongside her father and his partner, according to the Colombian consulate.
Recovery and identification efforts proved difficult due to the condition of the bodies, prompting the Colombian consulate to provide direct support to Brazilian authorities.
