KPK Awaits Hasto Kristiyanto‘s Video Evidence; PDI-P Defends Him Amidst Corruption Allegations

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has responded to reports involving PDI-P’s Secretary-General, Hasto Kristiyanto, who is alleged to possess videos related to state officials. The KPK said it is prepared to accept any evidence Hasto may provide.

"We’re ready to accept the report," stated KPK Deputy Chairman, Fitroh Rohcahyanto, on Sunday (29/12/2024). He added, "The KPK receives all reports from the public, including those related to corruption allegations."

Earlier, PDI-P’s spokesperson, Guntur Romli, defended Hasto, who has been named a suspect in a KPK case. Guntur accused the KPK of being influenced by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and hinted that Hasto possesses explosive evidence.

Hasto, reportedly, has videos that could reveal Jokowi’s plans for a third term, with high-ranking officials allegedly involved. Guntur also hinted at a significant video related to former Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan, stating that it could expose a major political scandal.

The KPK and PDI-P have been in a spotlight recently, with tensions between the two escalating. The public eagerly awaits any developments in this ongoing saga.

PDIP Responds to MAKI‘s Call for Hasto Kristiyanto to Release Corruption Scandal Videos

JAKARTA – The Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-Perjuangan) has responded to the call by the Anti-Corruption Indonesia Society (MAKI) coordinator, Boyamin Saiman, for PDI-P‘s secretary-general, Hasto Kristiyanto, to promptly unveil corruption scandal videos implicating high-ranking officials.

Boyamin had previously urged Hasto, who was recently named a suspect in the Harun Masiku case, not to merely "stir the pot" with the videos but to release them to the public. PDI-P’s response was delivered by its DPP chairman, Guntur Romli.

"These are not mere spices, they’re an atomic bomb. Release them, and everyone goes down together," Guntur told Sindonews on Sunday, December 29, 2024. While acknowledging the gravity of the situation, Guntur refrained from specifying when the videos would be released, deferring to Hasto’s discretion.

Rumors had circulated that Hasto had compiled videos related to corruption scandals that could expose the involvement of high-ranking officials in these cases.

"Crucial Documents surface on Bakrie’s Rescue to Russia, Rocky alleges Jokowi’s Wrongdoing"

Political Analyst Rocky Gerung Weighs In on PDIP Secretary-General Hasto Kristiyanto’s Documents Stored by documents/” title=”Misconceptions About Connie BK: A Critical Analysis of Important Documents”>Connie Rahakundini Bakrie

JAKARTA – Political commentator Rocky Gerung has shared his thoughts on the significant documents of Sekretaris Jenderal of PDIP, Hasto Kristiyanto, which are being stored by analyst and defense expert Connie Rahakundini Bakrie in Russia. While the contents of these documents remain unclear, Rocky hazarded some guesses on what they might entail.

"’Perhaps we can speculate about the types of documents Mistah Connie is holding onto. They could be written reports, videos, or evidence of bribery – that sort of thing," Rocky mused on his YouTube channel (29/12/2024).

Rocky believes that politics should always be studied from multiple layers. "The first layer is what’s presented to the public. The second layer is what’s suggested to counteract that presentation," he explained.

Rocky went on to discuss a third layer, which counters the second and so on, until the situation is fully comprehended. He further speculated that KPK‘s (Corruption Eradication Commission) reaction to these documents – whether they proceed with an investigation or not – could give insight into their authenticity and potential impact.

"Maybe these documents will indeed be explosive for KPK. Will they proceed with this case? If in the following days, KPK starts to find ways to weaken its own position, starting with negotiations, that might be the first sign that the documents in Mistah Connie’s possession are genuine," Rocky surmised.

Connie has previously hinted that the documents could be a ‘time bomb’ for certain parties, without revealing their contents. In a recent Instagram post, she expressed concern about Hasto’s designation as a suspect by KPK.

"Regarding Mas Hasto’s designation as a suspect by KPK, of course, I’m concerned. He’s my friend, and we’ve learned a lot from each other. It’s always disappointing when someone close faces such challenges," Connie wrote.

Hasto’s Long Shadow: From KPK Suspect to Bung Karno’s Namesake

Hasto Kristiyanto, the Secretary General of PDIP, has made headlines after being named a suspect by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) in the Harun Masiku case. Since then, Hasto has been the subject of criticism and defense.

Hasto’s Assertion

In his first public statement since being named a suspect, Hasto Kristiyanto claimed that his designation was a form of intimidation. Quoting from the 9th chapter of Sukarno’s book, "Penyambung Lidah Rakyat Indonesia," Hasto stated that entering detention was part of striving for a noble cause. "Therefore, never fear to speak the truth," Hasto asserted.

Headline: KPK Delays Arrest of PDIP’s Hasto Kristiyanto Despite Escalating Harun Masiku Case

Byline: Isa, Detikcom

In the ever-evolving saga surrounding the corruption case involving Harun Masiku, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has yet to apprehend Secretary-General of the PDIP Hasto Kristiyanto, despite his status as a suspect.

Jakarta – The KPK’s delay in apprehending Hasto Kristiyanto has raised eyebrows, particularly as Harun Masiku, the main figure in the case, remains at large. Zaenur Rohman, a researcher from the Pusat Studi Anti Korupsi (Pukat) at the University of Gadjah Mada, emerged to shed light on the matter.

"Whether Hasto is arrested or not depends on the investigation team’s assessment," Zaenur said in a concise message to Detikcom. The decision lies in the KPK’s hands, and officers may choose to arrest a suspect if they fearflight, repeat offenses, or obstruction of evidence."

The landscape of the case shifted recently with Harun Masiku fleeing, putting a spotlight on Hasto Kristiyanto’s potential involvement. As the main suspect’s escape underscores the urgency of the situation, pundits like Zaenur urge prioritizing the investigation’s conclusion.

"Swift conclusion of the investigation allows for prompt prosecution and judicial clarity," Zaenur implored, adding that staying rigorous and unbiased throughout the process would alleviate lingering speculations."

Previously, KPK had named Hasto Kristiyanto as a suspect. The high-ranking PDIP official stands accused of bribery in a case involving Harun Masiku’s political ambitions. KPK Chair Setyo Budiyanto revealed that Hasto allegedly conspired to replace Riezky Aprilia with Harun Masiku in a parliamentary seat switch.

As Harun Masiku evades authorities, the KPK continues to weigh its next move, hoping to swiftly disintegrate this web of corruption.

Minister Challenges PDIP’s Hasto to Produce Video of Alleged Corruption in High Places

In a recent development, Minister of Secretariat (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi has responded to claims made by PDIP’s Secretary General, Hasto Kristiyanto, who has allegedly been in possession of a video showing corruption among high-ranking officials, threatening to release it soon. In a surprise turn of events, the Minister has entreated Hasto to present the video if it indeed exists.

"Oh yes, is there such a video? If it exists, please present it," Prasetyo said during an event at the Indonesia Arena GBK in Jakarta on Saturday (December 28, 2024). "Everything boils down to facts supported by law. It’s all about legal facts."

Earlier, PDI Perjuangan’s spokesperson, Guntur Romli, had defended Hasto from accusations of panicking after being named a suspect by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). Guntur found KPK’s current leadership to be questionable, implying that they were chosen under the influence of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

"Those who are currently overseeing the KPK are ‘ools’, choosing to ‘manipulate’ with someone else’s hand," Guntur told detikNews on Friday (December 27, 2024). He further noted that Jokowi still has significant influence over key political figures, stating, "Now, consider the public’s opinion. Take social media, for example. How deferential is Pak Prabowo to Jokowi?"

Guntur also mentioned that Hasto is in possession of several videos related to the ‘three periods’ controversy, which he claims will be released soon. Furthermore, he hinted at another video with explosive content, pertaining to former Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan, implying a scandal larger than the Watergate affair in the United States.

"If Hasto is indeed so loyal to his party and president, why doesn’t he just release the videos already?" Prasetyo responded to Guntur’s comments, challenging Hasto to produce the evidence he claims to have. "If there’s a video, present it. We’ll be waiting."

This latest exchange comes amidst ongoing speculation and debate surrounding the political landscape in Indonesia, with the upcoming presidential election in 2024 adding fuel to the fire. As the nation awaits Hasto’s next move, the question remains: what explosive revelations might these mysterious videos hold? Only time will tell.

Indonesia’s PSI Slams PDIP‘s Hasto for Bung Karno Comparison Amidst Corruption Allegations

Jakarta, 28th December 2024 – The Solidarity Party of Indonesia (PSI) has slammed PDIP’s Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto for invoking founding father Bung Karno’s name amidst corruption allegations. PSI chairman Cheryl Tanzil opined that linking Bung Karno’s name to the current case against Hasto is an overreach.

"I respect the KPK’s decision in naming Hasto Kristiyanto as a suspect. However, using Bung Karno’s name in this context is uncalled for and inappropriate," Cheryl stated. "Bung Karno was once arrested for defending the nation against colonial powers. Today’s case, however, involves alleged bribery with a member of the KPU, Wahyu Setiawan."

Cheryl emphasized that the party respects the ongoing legal process and encourages the public to do the same while waiting for the case’s outcome. She also reminded that the principle of innocent until proven guilty should be upheld.

PDIP Stands by Hasto, Compares Him to Bung Karno

PDIP, through its spokesperson Guntur Romli, stood by Hasto Kristiyanto. Romli clarified that Hasto was not equating himself to Bung Karno but rather emphasizing the importance of fighting against injustice, much like Bung Karno did in his time.

"Not only in the resistance against colonizers, but Bung Karno also stood firm against corruption and nepotism. We believe Hasto is merely following Bung Karno’s footsteps in standing against injustice," Romli added.

Hasto’s Role in the Alleged Corruption Cases

The KPK allele that Hasto played a significant role in two corruption cases involving Harun Masiku, a politician linked to PDIP. The first case involves Hasto allegedly influencing the placement of Harun Masiku in a parliamentary district for the 2019 legislative elections. This led to Wahyu Setiawan, a KPU commissioner, facilitating Harun Masiku’s candidacy.

Hasto was also suspected of obstructing justice when the KPK was attempting to apprehend Harun Masiku in early 2020.

PDI Perjuangan Defends Former Sekjen Hasto Kristiyanto Amidst Corruption Case

In a recent turn of events, Jokowi's Stance on the 12% PPN Tax Bill"</strong></p>”>Guntur Romli, the Spokesperson (Jubir) of PDI Perjuangan, has come out in support of former Sekjen PDIP Hasto Kristiyanto, who has been named a suspect in a corruption case by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). Romli dismissed suggestions that Hasto’s mention of the three-period debate while facing corruption allegations was a panicked move, instead attributing it to the influence of the current presidential administration.

"Using the Javanese phrase ‘nabok nilih tangan,’ Hasto was accused using someone else’s hand. The leadership of KPK today was selected and chosen during whose era? The high-ranking officials, especially the enforcers of the law, who chose and appointed them? The influence of Jokowi is still very strong," Romli stated on Friday (27/12/2024).

Hasto, following his nomination as a suspect, has recently been in the spotlight for touching on the three-period debate, suggesting that President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) indeed aims for a third consecutive term. Romli, however, believes that the current administration still bears the influence of the previous Jokowi era.

"Presidents change, but ‘Jokowi’s people’ remain in power. Hasto possesses a number of videos relevant to the three-period issue and plans to release them," Romli added.

Interestingly, Hasto is also alleged to have video evidence of significant impact, including claims of orchestrated attempts to criminalize former DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan. Guntur expects these revelations to cause a magnitude of scandal comparable to the Watergate case in the United States.

Meanwhile, Chairman of Jokowi Mania (Joman), Immanuel Ebenezer (Noel), responded to Hasto’s previous statements regarding the three-period debate. Noel believes Hasto’s comments were a result of panic following his nomination as a suspect.

"The issue of a third period is over, and we’ve already made it clear that we reject the idea. It’s not just Hasto; we’re all against it," Noel told reporters. "Hasto’s comments might have been caused by panic because he suddenly became a suspect."

Noel also emphasized that the election has already taken place, making the issue of a third term irrelevant. Moreover, President Joko Widodo has reportedly distanced himself from the three-period notion, attributing such claims to political groups seeking attention.

Misconceptions About Connie BK: A Critical Analysis of Important Documents

by Chief Editor December 28, 2024
written by Chief Editor

Title: Exclusive: Connie Bakrie Claims to Have Been Given Sensitive Documents by PDIP‘s Hasto Kristiyanto

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia — Pengamat militer Connie Rahakundini Bakrie has sensationally revealed that she was entrusted with several sensitive documents by PDIP’s Secretary General, Hasto Kristiyanto. The confession comes as Hasto faces impending status as a suspect in a corruption case handled by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

Connie, known for her closeness to Hasto, recently accompanied the PDIP figure during a podcast recording with Akbar Faizal Uncensored, where he hinted at his impending status as a KPK suspect. It was during this tumultuous period that Connie claims she received the critical documents.

Here are the key details surrounding the incident:

1. Documents Notarized in Russia
Connie declared via her personal Instagram account that the sensitive documents had been notarized in Russia. "Upon my return to Indonesia, I was entrusted with several important documents, which I have securely stored and been notarized in Russia," she stated.

2. Potential ‘Time Bomb’
The pengamat militer hinted that the documents could potentially serve as a ‘time bomb‘ for Hasto once his status as a suspect is officially announced. "They could serve as a bombshell revelation," she added.

3. Received in Jakarta
Connie revealed that she received the documents upon her return to Jakarta and during a meeting with Hasto. She suggested that Hasto had learned from the experience of his aide, Kusnadi, who had his phone and party notebooks seized during a previous KPK interrogation.

"(…) Hasto has learned from Kusnadi’s experience, where his phone and party notebooks were confiscated during a KPK interrogation. I’ve simply provided him with the heads-up, given our close friendship," Connie explained.

The development raises questions about the nature of these documents and their potential impact on the ongoing corruption case against Hasto Kristiyanto. As Hasto’s status as a suspect looms, all eyes are on whether these documents will, indeed, serve as a game-changer in the high-stakes political drama unfolding in Indonesia.
