On May 21, selected teams from almost all continents will begin their journey at one of five European starting points: Amsterdam, Barcelona, Budapest, Copenhagen or Milan. Each team gives away cash, credit cards and personal phones and only has one week to get to Berlin!
During the journey, the teams exchange cans of Red Bull for everything they need: food, accommodation, transportation to the next location and other adventures that make the experience legendary. If you’re one of those lucky teams, you’ll be able to create your own journey by visiting checkpoints in various European cities, where you’ll be tasked with completing as many adventure challenges as possible. The Checkpoint Challenges take place in different cities across Europe and range from an adventure with Red Bull athletes to immersion in local cultural experiences. Adventure Challenges can be done at any time, in any city, and focus on creativity and fun with teammates and jar trading.
Points are earned for checkpoint challenges, adventure challenges, and how much you share with the world when you complete them. Race winners are determined by the amount of points they accumulate along the way, not by who crosses the finish line first.
Are cans of Red Bull the same value as cash, phones and hotel reservations? We bet they are! In the previous Red Bull Can You Make It? During the events, the teams got to have the experiences of their dreams, from jumping out of a plane to attending high-profile sporting events, to staying in a five-star hotel and more!
In 2016, a total of 165 student teams from all over the world participated in the same challenge. The winner was the Estonians – TUT students Georg, Kaspar and Siim from the Feel Alive! team.
Feeling alive! she started her journey from Barcelona. In a week they managed to cross Spain, France, Switzerland, Germany and the Netherlands. To get from Amsterdam to Paris, they managed to exchange two boxes of Red Bull for three plane tickets from Amsterdam to Paris.
In addition to the fantastic experience, Feel Alive! guys also a trip that will last the whole summer: they were invited to be ambassadors of Contiki Travel for the whole summer. This meant young people were able to travel across Europe and experience the best adventures possible, from local attractions to incredible Red Bull experiences.
How can I register for the greatest adventure of my life?
Step 1: Find two friends to form a team of three.
Step 2: Film a short video explaining why your team should participate and submit it to www.redbullcanyoumakeit.com by March 31, 2024. Less is more: A heartfelt message sent directly to the camera has more impact than a polished, edited video. Simply share what you think will make your team smart, intelligent, travel-ready, and ready for the adventures of a lifetime. Are you creative? Do you love life? Can you be honest with yourself and laugh at yourself at the same time? These are all qualities that could make you the perfect choice to tackle the whole of Europe with nothing but cans of Red Bull.
Step 3: now you can sit back, relax and wait for the decision of the local judges. The judges choose the team representing Estonia. What happens if you are selected? You and your teammates will then be invited to fly to one of five departure points in Europe to begin an adventure that will take you far from home but bring you even closer. What city will it be? It’s part of the emotion: you’ll only discover it shortly before leaving the house.
