The seminar will introduce Tallinn’s plans for the development of parks and green areas in 2024. The development of the new linear parks Putukaväil and Klindipark, the construction of the Järveotsa waterfront and the reconstruction of the Poolamäe park will be discussed in more detail.
Furthermore, a summary will be made of what has changed in the landscape of Tallinn during the year of the European Green Capital, and the English version of the book “Parks and green areas of Tallinn” will be presented.
Deputy Mayor of Tallinn Vladimir Svet, head of the Tallinn Environment and Services Committee Jaan Tarmak, head of the Tallinn Environment and Environment Department Kristiina Kupper and head of the Space Creation Department of the Strategy Center from Tallinn Kaidi Põldoja will talk about Tallinn’s parks and green areas and answer questions.
The seminar is held in Estonian and its approximate duration is two hours. Before or after the seminar it is also possible to see the exhibition summarizing Tallinn’s Year of the European Green Capital in Tammsaare Park.
